TRAE's billing system has been updated to offer transparent and flexible payment options. Here’s how it works:

1. Core Concept

TRAE uses Dollar Usage as its billing standard. Every request you make consumes Tokens, and the total token cost is converted to dollars based on model pricing. This is the amount deducted from your available balance.

2. Costing

  • Charges are calculated per request or task. For example, an individual conversation or API request consumes a certain amount of Tokens that is converted to dollars by the model's standard token rate.
  • Each subscription plan (e.g., Pro, Lite) has its defined monthly Basic Usage, which cannot roll over to the next month if unused.

3. Usage Types

  • Bonus Usage: Extra credits granted based on your chosen plan. These are only utilized after exhausting Basic Usage. Not applicable for carryover.
  • Extra Package: Promotional credits from marketing campaigns. These are counted toward Basic Usage.
  • On-Demand Usage: Pay-as-you-go option for when Basic and Bonus balances are depleted. Costs are accumulated for every $3 spent before charging.

4. Payment Methods

Options depend on your region but include: Alipay, WeChat Pay, credit/debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, American Express, etc.), and PayPal. Note that WeChat Pay is not supported in the US, and PayPal may not be available in certain regions, including China (Macau).
