Ice Machine
An ice machine is a device that converts water into ice. It typically consists of a compressor, a condenser, an evaporator, and an expansion valve. The compressor compresses the refrigerant gas, which then travels to the condenser where it condenses into a liquid. The liquid refrigerant then passes through the expansion valve, which reduces its pressure and temperature. The low-pressure refrigerant then travels to the evaporator, where it absorbs heat from the water, causing the water to freeze. The ice is then harvested from the evaporator and stored in a bin.
