Wristwatch

A wristwatch is a timekeeping device worn around the wrist. It consists of a watch head or case with a watch movement or mechanism to show the time, and a wristband or strap to attach it to the wearer's wrist. Wristwatches are typically powered by batteries, although some have self-winding or solar-powered mechanisms. They may display a variety of information beyond the time, such as the date, day of the week, and stopwatch functions.
