iOS 18 is the upcoming mobile operating system to be released by Apple, an American technology company. Apple is planning to integrate generative AI into Siri, allowing Siri to perform complex tasks in a ChatGPT-like question-and-answer format. This feature is expected to debut in iOS 18. In May 2024, reports surfaced that Apple would not launch an AI chatbot similar to ChatGPT. Instead, they will be optimizing iOS 18 with their own large language model (LLM) called Ajax, which is expected to significantly enhance Siri.
